EDUCATION CALENDAR UPDATE:
· Sunday, May 16 – Sunday School Picture Day! – We will continue the tradition of taking a picture of each of our Sunday School classes during the 9:30-10:30 hour.
It’s great to have a record of our progress each year, and fun to see how our children
have grown and none of the adults have changed at all over the years! So come
ready to smile for the camera!
· Sunday, May 23 – Last Sunday of Spring Quarter Sunday School – After the Memorial Day weekend, we begin Summer Sunday School. Except for our preschool children, who promote on or near their birthdays, we will not promote at this time. Promotion for kindergarten through Grade 6 will occur in September.
· Sunday, May 30 – Memorial Day weekend – A one-voice service, no Sunday School for our children’s classes. Bring your family to worship!
· Sunday, June 6 – First Sunday of Summer Sunday School – Teachers are still needed for all classes. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to help our children learn about Jesus. All materials are provided. Contact Phyllis Tyner now for more info!
· Sunday, June 13– Graduate Recognition Sunday – During the 9:30 worship service we will recognize those high school and college graduates in our congregation.
· June 21 -25 – Vacation Bible School – Check elsewhere in this issue and on the church website for continuing updates as we prepare for a “Galactic Blast! VBS Program will take place during the 9:30 hour on Sunday, June 27. Bring a friend to VBS!
