Hilltoppers´ Upcoming Events
TUESDAY, AUGUST 10: HILLTOPPERS wil visit Richmond, IN, in eastern Indiana. Leaving at 8:00am, we plan to arrive at the Hill Memorial Rose Garden by 10:30am. The gardne has more than 73 varieties and displays of 2,000 roses! After lunch we'll have a guided vehicle tour of Hayes Arboretum, which offers a glimpse of native flora and fauna on a 500-acre woodland farm. Neext we'll visit the Wayne County Historical Museum, a Quaker meetinghouse. At this location, there are many items are on display which relate to RIchmond history. We should be home in the late afternoon or early evening. Sign up on the HILLTOPPERS bulletin board, and see Jim Butts or David Duncan for more information!
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12: The Hilltoppers will be going to Kentucky to visit the Creation Museum. Planned time for departure is 8:00am and return should be between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. The price for a group rate ticket is @12.95 plus gas money for church vehicles. Lunch cost is up to the individual, as there are several eating areas on the premises. THe Creation Museum is an amazing place--70,000 square feel which bering the Bible to life! It's definitely worth your time! Watch the Hilltoppers bulletin board for sign-up.

SEPTEMBER 14-16: HILLTOPPERS will be going to Springfield, IL, for a tour of Abraham Lincoln sites. The cost for a room for 2 persons for 2 nights at the Sleep Inn, including tax and contentntal breakfast is $179.18. The cost of tours, one buffet lunch, and gas per person is $45.00. One lunch and two dinners will be on your own. Deadline for payment of $45.00 is August 1. Payment for the motel will be at time of check-in.
